ARM has dismissed the the threat posted by Intel at the consumer electronics that are noticed in the mobile computing space .ARM is the company who design the lower power chip that are usually found in smart phones and tablets. ARM CEO Warren East, said that we regard Intel has serious competitors.

In his interview with Reuters, East has highlighted  disadvantage like Intel is trying to take its traditional x86 architecture that was used for years in servers and PCs and rework it to meet the low-power demands of smart phones and tablets and they also made the some design that are not applicable for the mobile phones.Over the past year, Intel is came into market with boom in mobile device space and move with  ARM and its manufacturing partners – including Qualcomm, Nvidia , Marvell, Samsung and Calxeda – looking to push the ARM architecture up the ladder and into the PC and low-power server markets. ARM currently licenses its designs to 275 chip makers.

In most of the mobile phones like smart phones and tablet, Intel is always dissapointed to ARM and its partners, which is based on  low power consumption. Warren East said that due to low power battery of mobile phones, people not able to do more things with their mobile phones and the battery size remains constant.
