Hackers Threaten to Dump Norton AntiVirus Source Code Tomorrow

A computer hacker who goes by the name of 'Yama Tough' yesterday threatened to release the full source code for Symantec Corp's flagship Norton AntiVirus software.

A computer hacker who goes by the name of 'Yama Tough' yesterday threatened to release the full source code for Symantec Corp's flagship Norton AntiVirus software.

The hacker says all the data was taken from Indian government servers. Symantec Corp described the stolen source code as several years old, Fox News reported. A spokesman for the company, Cris Paden, told the news site that Symantec didn't have any other information, "particularly with regards to any new claims Anonymous is making."
