HP claims that TouchPad works like no other tablet. Seamlessly move back and forth between apps without losing your place.1 See your related activities grouped together automatically, so you stay organized. If a call or text message arrives on your HP Pre3 smartphone, you can answer or reply right from TouchPad.2,3,4 Not to mention share websites with other HP webOS devices.5 Plus you experience more of the web thanks to Adobe® Flash® Player.6,7

  • Loaded with WebOS, it provides following features.
  • Multi-tasking taken to next level.
  • Single View, Multiple Sources.
  • Just Type. No thinking required.
  • Move information between devices.
  • Put the worldwide back into the web.

Support Flash and HTML 5

I am frustrated Apple iOS not supporting Flash. By giving me Flash support, I would like TouchPad. TouchPad also support HTML 5, which iOS does too.

Multi-tasking taken to next level

It allows you to move back and forth between multiple applications.

Single View, Multiple Sources

WebOS allows you to sync your multiple accounts from Facebook, Google, Microsoft Exchange, Linked, and Yahoo into one single account including calendars, schedules, contact and much more.

Just Type. No thinking required

Start an email, create a message, update your status, search your favorite websites — all without having to launch an app. Whenever you want to do something on TouchPad, whether it's emailing, texting, searching, or almost anything, just start typing.4

Receive notifications, not disruptions

Get a snapshot of new messages, email, and events without being disrupted.4 You see the subject of an email or the first few words of a text message. Then simply touch the notification on your tablet, and go right to the app to read and reply. HP webOS notifications don't take over your screen, so you stay in the loop without getting lost.

Move information between devices

Instantly share a website with your HP Pre3 simply by touching the two together.5 Then take it to go. Or transfer one from your phone to your tablet and continue reading on a larger screen. HP webOS devices are designed to work even better together, giving you a better experience on both.

It would be nice to see how it impacts iPad and other tablet sales.
