“After selecting the number of his choice, the customer will receive a PIN number on his mobile. The selected number will be reserved for 48 hours and will no longer be visible for further selection,” Rajeev Agarwal, chief general manager of BSNL-AP circle, told media persons here. Customers need to approach a customer service centre or a retailer with the PIN number, who will provide him with the same number. Customers can reserve a maximum of two numbers, and the list will be updated every day or even at a higher frequency, to ensure that additional numbers are added to make 100,000 numbers available every day with the customers to choose from. “Besides, it increases the loyalty of the customers to BSNL as the number is taken on his choice.
